ROCKING S FARMS was established with the purpose of raising quality Tennessee Walking Horses that would be a pleasure to own and ride. We have dedicated ourselves to handling our babies from the moment they're born as we have found this produces the results we are looking for. Our foals are people-friendly yet respectful and responsive to their handler. Just for the sheer delight of it, we specialize in colorful Walkers including spotted, sabino, and overo patterns, but recognize that quality babies come in all colors. All of our foals are intelligent, well-mannered, and demonstrate a true pleasure gait. Besides that - they're downright pretty! APRIL 2008: What a delight to welcome this filly to the "Rocking S" family! Even more delightful is to watch her long striding stroll around the pasture. She's got everything it takes to make a pleasure horse deluxe! Her temporary name is Twilight's Candle, and is sired by our Spotted Beau. 
APRIL 2008: We also welcome this elegant filly to the Rocking S Family! She is very much the curious one - always investigating her surroundings and her handlers. Her adventurous spirit keeps us on our toes when leading her Mom to and from the barn. However, she makes up for all ramblings with lots of affection. She is sired by Spotted Beau and her dam is one of our first mares by our Pride's Tommahawk. 
APRIL 2008: This young spotted stallion is busy watching the new babies invade his territory! Until now he's been the center of attention. A coming 2yr old out of Spotted Beau and a Generator Mare, this colt is simply outstanding in looks, talent, and intellegience. It has been a tremendous pleasure working with this "once in a lifetime" type of horse. The speed and agility he exhibits at liberty is mesmerizing to watch. The biggest challenge is to not push him too quickly because of my own eagerness to know what it feels like to ride the wind with this amazing athlete. 
This is the near side view of the curious colt pictured above. He is progressing well with his round pen work, requiring only the slightest of aids to help him complete his tasks. He's also being used to tease our mares and is a perfect gentlemen. He obeys my commands even with the mares in "full season", and is easily led to them or away from them. As a 5'3" female who expects manners from all our horses, "Little Beau" is exceptional in his desire to please.
